Hertfordshire County Council provides 17 Household Waste Recycling Centres for members of the public to deposit their household waste free of charge, and to ensure that as much of the county's waste as possible is recycled.

Amey is responsible for the management of these sites on behalf of the County Council.

The largest 16 sites offer re-use facilities for the benefit of local communities, these further reduce the amount of materials going to landfill.

To find out more about the sites including which materials can be recycled, please go to: www.hertsdirect.org/wasteaware.

Our on-site team is there to assist you; if you need them to lend a hand please just ask a member of staff, they will be happy to help.

Locations and opening times for all sites can be found here.
