Tours for groups and schools

Do you know you can visit Milton Keynes Waste Recovery Park and find out first-hand what happens to your waste?

We have a dedicated, on-site Education and Visitor Centre and can offer talks and tours to community groups, as well as recycling and waste-themed activities for schools.

Visits must be booked in advance and our online diary below shows availability. Once you have a date in mind for your school visit, please submit the booking form (which can be found in the diary section).

Further information Coronavirus COVID-19 update

In order to comply with relevant health and safety legislation, to support the Government’s efforts to ‘contain’ and ‘delay’ the spread of the virus, and to support business continuity planning, Amey is implementing additional site control measures from Monday 16 March.

Additional site control measures

One of the measures deemed necessary to mitigate the impact of the pandemic is to implement site control to essential personnel only, to support ‘social distancing’ measures recommended by the Government to ‘delay’ the spread of the virus. This includes:

  • Suspension of all external visits including educational and industry visits

These measures will remain in place until further notice. If you have scheduled a meeting at or a visit to one of our sites, a member of our team will contact you to discuss rescheduling. Further updates will be provided in due course.

We thank all our stakeholders, partners and suppliers for their understanding and support at this time.
