Landscape and Cultural Heritage Fund

Allerton Park Landscape and Cultural Heritage Fund

The planning agreement for Allerton Waste Recovery Park was signed in February 2013 and included proposals for a Landscape and Cultural Heritage Fund.

The County Council is working with Two Ridings Community Foundation to deliver this fund.

The fund is designed to assist with projects which enhance the landscape, cultural heritage and biodiversity of the designated area of benefit around the Allerton Waste Recovery Park and also projects which mitigate the visual effects of the site within that same area.

There are three schemes which make up the Allerton Park Landscape and Cultural Heritage Fund.

  • The small grants scheme has grants available up to £1,000
  • The medium grant scheme for grants from £1,001 up to £10,000
  • The large grants scheme can provide grants between £10,001 and £50,000.

You can find out more and apply to the fund here. You can also read more about grants that have recently been awarded here.
